City Haven Massage Therapy is operated by Charlotte Bosson - a fully qualified relaxation and remedial massage therapist.

About Charlotte

Charlotte graduated with the Diploma of Remedial Massage from the Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy in March 2006.

Although highly experienced in relaxation massage techniques, Charlotte has a special interest in remedial massage and working with clients on an ongoing basis to counteract specific soft tissue problems related to poor posture, pain, stiffness, injury recovery and stress.

Charlotte’s remedial work also incorporates pregnancy massage for both antenatal and postnatal patients. Her experience includes working in the hospital environment with both high-risk patients and with women soon after childbirth, as well as providing pregnancy related services through her clinic.

In addition to holding a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy and a Diploma of Remedial Massage, Charlotte has also completed specialised modules in Relaxation and has undertaken a 40 Hour Dry Needling workshop as a credit towards a Diploma of Myotherapy. Charlotte has a particular interest in treating upper back and neck pain related to poor posture . She has been able to greatly reduce many clients pain and headaches through massage and education about correcting posture coupled with stretching routines and strengthening exercises.

Charlotte is available at our Balwyn North clinic on Mondays and Wednesdays and  our Mont Albert clinic on Tuesdays (all day) and Thursday mornings.

About Stacey

Stacey has just moved back to the city after 3 years working in a multi-disciplinary clinic in the country. She completed her Advanced Diploma of Remedial Massage (Myotherapy) at the Australian College of Sports Therapy. She has gained a lot of experience over the past years not only working alongside many other practitioners within a clinic environment but also working with elite gymnasts at the MLC gymnastic club and the VFL/AFL umpiring department.

Stacey has a keen in interest in treating conditions/injuries caused by poor posture and biomechanics. For this reason she is currently undertaking a pilates course to enhance her knowledge in this area.

Stacey specalises in deep tissue massage and uses numerous other modalities including dry needling, cupping, hot and cold therapies, joint mobilisation and stretching to obtain the best results for her clients.

Stacey is committed to her own health and fitness and loves to help and motivate clients to reach their goals.

You can meet Stacy at our Mont Albert clinic every Thursday afternoon/evening, Fridays and Saturday mornings - she works alongside Charlotte Bosson (the owner of City Haven Massage Therapy) who also shares shifts at our Mont Albert clinic. Stacy and Charlotte work together to treat clients in a streamlined way, sharing information and treatment plans.

Mobile Massage Therapists
Introducing our mobile massage therapist team.  We have many experienced and talented therapists waiting to help you. 

Glenda Morris Glenda Morris graduated with a Diploma of Remedial Massage from the Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy in March 2009 with High Distinction (First Class Honours). She has a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy with specialised modules in Relaxation and Sports Massage. Glenda can provide Remedial, Sports & Relaxation Massages. She is a mature, caring and dedicated therapist. Glenda is a Mum to teenage children and is also a Registered Nurse with 25 years of nursing experience. Her nursing work includes orthopaedics/rehabilitation, midwifery training and palliative care. Glenda is one of our Mobile Therapists for home and corporate visits. She is skilled in pre and post natal pregnancy massage and also cares for our ill and elderly clients in a nursing home environment. Glenda’s treatments are eligible for health fund rebates. She is interested in increasing her skill base to include Lymphatic drainage. Glenda is available for home visits during the day Monday to Wednesday but can do occasional evening work subject to availability.

JodyAnn Van Keulen JodyAnn began her massage studies in 2000 at the Melbourne College of Natural Therapies where she gained her Cert IV in Massage Therapy. She added a Diploma of Remedial Massage to her achievements which she gained through her studies at the Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy. Her interest in Hawaiian Kahuna massage led her to complete up to level 5 in this modality which focuses on massaging with respect, intent and aloha. In addition to her work as a practitioner she has also had the opportunity to teach hot stones massage and has designed and taught massage courses to health spa therapists with Hyatt hotels in India. JodyAnn has many years of experience working within within aged care environments providing massage to residents. She is experienced in corporate massage and has worked with cancer patients. With over 10 years of experience JodyAnn brings a diverse range of skills to her work at City Haven Massage Therapy. Her focus is simply to help busy people stay well and happy physically and emotionally through massage therapy. JodyAnn works as one of our mobile therapists. She is available for home visits, corporate massage and works regularly with our nursing home residents. JodyAnn is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist and health rebates are available with all major health funds for her services.

Michele Bisetto Michele is a warm and caring therapist with a passion for Aged Care massage.  She has extensive remedial massage and rehabilitation experience.  Initially Michelle began her career as a Myotherapist within the Sports industry.  At this time she also started working with a few elderly clients.  She stopped massaging for a while to enjoy raising her children.  When she returned to work, she studied Shiatsu massage and is now a qualified Shiatsu therapist.  Michele is able to bring a diverse range of skills to her clients at City Haven Massage Therapy combining the clinical approach of Remedial Massage with the oriental style of Shiatsu.  Michele is one of our dedicated mobile massage therapists who works with many of our Nursing Home residents.  She teaches yoga and martial arts within the local community.  These disciplines enable her to work effectively and maintain excellent levels of energy.  Michele is a mature, adaptable and empathetic therapist who treats each of her clients with dignity and respect.
