City Haven Massage Therapy is operated by Charlotte Bosson - a fully qualified relaxation and remedial massage therapist.

About Charlotte

Charlotte graduated with the Diploma of Remedial Massage from the Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy in March 2006.

Although highly experienced in relaxation massage techniques, Charlotte has a special interest in remedial massage and working with clients on an ongoing basis to counteract specific soft tissue problems related to poor posture, pain, stiffness, injury recovery and stress.

Charlotte’s remedial work also incorporates pregnancy massage for both antenatal and postnatal patients. Her experience includes working in the hospital environment with both high-risk patients and with women soon after childbirth, as well as providing pregnancy related services through her clinic.

In addition to holding a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy and a Diploma of Remedial Massage, Charlotte has also completed specialised modules in Relaxation and has undertaken a 40 Hour Dry Needling workshop as a credit towards a Diploma of Myotherapy. In June 2010, Charlotte completed a Manual Lymphatic Drainage workshop where she learnt skills which she can now incorporate in her remedial massage treatments.

About Elizabeth

Elizabeth, like Charlotte, graduated with the Diploma of Remedial Massage from the Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy in March 2006.  She is working as a relief therapist at our North Balwyn clinic when Charlotte is ill or on holiday.

Elizabeth is a dedicated and talented therapist with a special interest in relaxation massage.  She is also registered with all major health funds for your convenience. 

Elizabeth now teaches relaxation massage to students at the Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy as well as running her own private practice.  Her training background includes study electives covering Manual Lymphatic Drainage & hot stone massage.

Mobile Massage Therapists
Introducing our mobile massage therapist team.  We have many experienced and talented therapists waiting to help you.  Charlotte is available for mobile home visits as is her growing team of therapists.

	Rell Werner Rell graduated from the Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy in March 2010. Her passion for massage includes, remedial, relaxation, and sport modalities. Rell is a vibrant and energetic therapist who enjoys many aspects of her job. She is experienced in trigger point therapy, myofascial release, deep tissue massage, stretching, mobilising techniques, cupping and sports massage. She enjoys working with clients to improve postural concerns and various soft tissue problems, relating to injury or recovery, and promoting mobile and healthy bodies for life. Rell strives to be the best therapist she can be and is always expanding her skills through further education and learning. Rell works as a mobile therapist for home and corporate visits she also works with the elderly in various nursing homes. Health rebates are available for Rell's treatments with most major health funds.
	Glenda Morris Glenda Morris graduated with a Diploma of Remedial Massage from the Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy in March 2009 with High Distinction (First Class Honours). She has a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy with specialised modules in Relaxation and Sports Massage. Glenda can provide Remedial, Sports & Relaxation Massages. She is a mature, caring and dedicated therapist. Glenda is a Mum to teenage children and is also a Registered Nurse with 25 years of nursing experience. Her nursing work includes orthopaedics/rehabilitation, midwifery training and palliative care. Glenda is one of our Mobile Therapists for home and corporate visits. She is skilled in pre and post natal pregnancy massage and also cares for our ill and elderly clients in a nursing home environment. Glenda’s treatments are eligible for health fund rebates. She is interested in increasing her skill base to include Lymphatic drainage.
	Keren Van Der Heyden Keren brings with her the latest techniques remedial massage has to offer. Her fascination with the human body inspired her to enroll at Holmesglen Institute where she underwent extensive studies in Remedial Massage, Aromatherapy and Business. Keren’s sport orientated background which has seen her play and coach State league netball, as well as working with both State League netballer’s and Country Championship football teams, gives her a unique insight to the body’s mechanics and what it takes to transform the impaired, both physically and mentally. Along with her warm, down to earth nature; Keren’s first hand experience with injury motivates her to provide the upmost compassionate yet effective rehabilitation for her clients from multiple demographics. Appreciating the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle, Keren regularly enjoys running, swimming and plays netball in the local country league. Keren is able to use a variety of different massage techniques; trigger point therapy, myofascial release, deep tissue massage, sports massage and stretching, lymphatic drainage and neuromuscular technique; to treat and manage her client’s wellbeing. Keren is available for mobile home visits to the outer South Eastern suburbs by appointment and is the main therapist for a Nursing Home client suffering from Multiple Sclerosis at an Upper Beaconsfield Nursing Home.
	JodyAnn Van Keulen JodyAnn began her massage studies in 2000 at the Melbourne College of Natural Therapies where she gained her Cert IV in Massage Therapy. She added a Diploma of Remedial Massage to her achievements which she gained through her studies at the Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy. Her interest in Hawaiian Kahuna massage led her to complete up to level 5 in this modality which focuses on massaging with respect, intent and aloha. In addition to her work as a practitioner she has also had the opportunity to teach hot stones massage and has designed and taught massage courses to health spa therapists with Hyatt hotels in India. JodyAnn has many years of experience working within within aged care environments providing massage to residents. She is experienced in corporate massage and has worked with cancer patients. With over 10 years of experience JodyAnn brings a diverse range of skills to her work at City Haven Massage Therapy. Her focus is simply to help busy people stay well and happy physically and emotionally through massage therapy. JodyAnn works as one of our mobile therapists. She is available for home visits, corporate massage and works regularly with our nursing home residents. JodyAnn is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist and health rebates are available with all major health funds for her services.
